Revolution Health Group Licenses Wellogic Technology

Technology Forms Foundation of New Health Offerings

Founded in July 2005, Revolution Health Group is creating a company where patients are put at the center of the health system, with more choices, convenience, and control over their healthcare. Revolution Health is integrating the technology and resources of numerous healthcare companies to offer consumers options, such as retail-based health clinics, health coverage that gives them more control, and an online portal for managing their health.

Revolution Health will use Wellogic’s technology to accelerate its development of consumer-facing Web solutions. The solutions will securely store patient data in Wellogic’s clinical data repository; interoperate with payor, employer, and provider clinical and financial systems via Wellogic’s health information exchange (HIE); and leverage Wellogic’s acclaimed Wellogic Data Access Components (WDAC) for scalability, performance, and coherence across multiple applications. The two companies will also publish and jointly evolve Wellogic’s Web-services application programming interfaces (APIs) to provide trading partners with the rich ability to publish and request data with the Revolution Network. Channel and joint marketing arrangements will further enhance the value and depth of the relationship.
