Wellogic Catalyst is a clinical knowledge platform that provides features – ranging from medical vocabulary driven rules authoring and management to rules driven application workflows and Web questionnaires – that enable clinical decision support through pro-active reviews and at the point of care.
Catalyst allows you to embed rules – patient-state patterns with associated actions – in Healthcare Information Systems, and serves to reduce medical errors and cost by facilitating the translation, distribution, vetting and adoption of the best of medical expertise by bringing appropriate information to clinicians and patients where and when needed, based on priority and context.
Catalyst is being used to create clinical applications such as:

Catalyst provides an intuitive Web-based rules and forms authoring tool for domain experts.
The authoring tool is accompanied by a library of rules, and:

- Represents rules at the high semantic level of clinical decision making
- Allows easy creation of patterns, scores, and decision tree algorithms
- Codes concepts using medical vocabularies including SNOMED, ICD-9, CPT-4, Multum and LOINC
