Wellogic’s Green Initiative

Currently, over 90% of physicians are still recording patients’ health histories, allergies, prescriptions and lab results on paper. This process is not only harmful to our environment but also to patients. Over 7,000 people die year in the U.S. because of preventable medication errors. EHRs can eliminate these errors by ensuring allergy and prescription information is always accessible at the point of care. This becomes especially critical in the case of an emergency where the patient may be unable to communicate this information.

Wellogic is set to help the future of our environment by changing the future of healthcare. Wellogic has created a web-based platform for interoperable data exchange, or an Health Information Exchange (HIE), enabling meaningful data exchange from disparate sources. Through Wellogic’s HIE, healthcare practices are able to digitize patient medical records, while reducing their carbon footprint.
